Overview
Audiences forgive a soft image and switch off at bad sound. We treat audio as a full department from the first shoot day through to the final mix, not as something to fix later.
That means proper location recording, a careful dialogue edit, designed atmospheres and original music written for the film rather than pulled off a library shelf.
On location
Recorded clean the first time
Boom and radio mics, separate tracks, room tone and wildtracks captured on the day. In working environments — salons, sports halls, family homes — we plan mic placement around the noise rather than fighting it in post.
Every project comes out of the shoot with organised, labelled audio that the edit can rely on.
In the mix
Dialogue, design and music
We edit dialogue for clarity, build atmospheres and effects, and mix to broadcast loudness standards with stems for delivery. Where a scene needs it we add ADR and foley.
Original score is written to picture with our composers, giving each project its own identity — and clearing the rights problem that library music often creates.
