Join the production
Smoggie Bloom brings together filmmakers, performers and specialists on a project-by-project basis. That means opportunities change as productions move through development, filming and post-production.
We do not keep a permanent list of invented vacancies. When a paid role, casting call or placement becomes available, we describe the work clearly and choose people for what they can bring to the production.

Cast
Actors, presenters, contributors and first-time performers. Send a current headshot or showreel, your location and a short introduction so we can consider you for relevant briefs.

Crew
Freelance production, camera, lighting, sound, art department and post-production professionals can introduce themselves with a concise CV, portfolio and current availability.

Work experience
Structured placements for students who need practical industry experience as part of a relevant course. Availability follows our live production schedule and the support we can provide safely.
Work experience
Placements for North East students
We open our sets, edit suites and production office to students studying film, media, performance, art and creative production across Teesside and the wider North East. Placements are hands-on: you will be on real productions with a real crew, not making tea in a corner.
