Good producing is invisible. When the schedule is realistic, the paperwork is done and the crew know exactly where to be, the shoot feels unhurried — and that calm shows up on screen in the performances.
We build budgets that hold, schedules that account for daylight and travel, and risk assessments that satisfy locations, insurers and councils without turning the day into admin.
Before the shoot
Budget, schedule, permissions
We cost projects line by line and tell you honestly what a given ambition costs. From there we schedule around locations, cast availability, light and travel, then lock the practical layer: location agreements, permits, road and public-space permissions, insurance, releases and call sheets.
Local knowledge matters here. We know which Teesside locations say yes, who to ask, how long it takes and where the parking is.
On the floor
Someone whose job is the day itself
On shoot days we run production so the director can direct: crew and cast logistics, timings, catering, continuity of paperwork, safety, and the constant small decisions that keep a unit moving.
We keep contributors, families and members of the public informed and comfortable — especially on documentary shoots where we are guests in someone's workplace or home.
